Initiated “Hollywood Road” Collaborative Exhibition with Hong Kong tertiary educational institutions

In this project the Design and Cultural Studies Workshop collaborated with five Hong Kong tertiary educational institutions. They are the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong, the Baptist University, School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Design Institute, the Hong Kong Art School and the School of Journalism and Communication of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Through seminars, field trips and workshops, students were encouraged to develop research approaches to re-interpret local history and culture in one year. Presenting their very first gift to Hong Kong in this exhibition, students showcase their best works based on the history and heritage of Hollywood Road, Central, through the media of photography, drawings, video recordings and installations. Implications of such events were enormous.
