Chiu Kwong-chiu was invited by CCTV-9 Documentary Channel to be the subject of a personage propaganda film for broadcasting across the country. Other personages filmed included Lin Zhaohua, Lang Lang, Li Haiying, Shu Yi, Xi Zhinong, Yuan Longping and Huang Yongyu.
