Invited by Goethe Institute, the Workshop and IS Reading Publishing Team collaborated to conduct the “Beijing Parkour—Urban Cultural Research Publication Project” on urban investigation in Beijing. The project revealed the urban features of Beijing through objective observations and various ways of recording. In this period, the trainees from Shantau University played an active role. During the process of investigation and production, they learned to adopt the right attitude towards culture and design. Working with different partners and being involved in a succession of social activities, their horizons were expanded.
