To create 100 animated films to go with the documentary programme The Forbidden City 100, the Workshop worked closely with the Palace Museum production team of CCTV9 Documentary Channel. The films investigated and conveyed the imageries and values of the Forbidden City and traditional Chinese cultures with modern perspectives, so as to enhance youngsters’ and foreigners’ interest and understanding of traditional Chinese cultures.
