The “Living with Bamboo” Exhibition was hosted by Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and co-organized by Hong Kong Museum of Art and Design and Cultural Studies Workshop. In November, two guided tours and four parent-child education workshops of the Exhibition were held in the National Library, Singapore. The education team of Design and Cultural Studies Workshop led participants to learn properties of bamboo through guided tours, interactive games, animations, kung-fu demonstration, etc. On top of applications and functions of bamboo in daily life and art, participants also gained insights into its aesthetics and inner qualities, while experiencing its close relationship with Chinese culture.
